EUREKA, Mont. — Tobacco Valley Animal Shelter in Eureka is hosting a raffle that seems too good to be true. For $20, you could win 32 acres of land on a waterfront property in Eureka and a motorhome to go with it.
It’s the latest fundraising initiative from Tobacco Valley Animal Shelter. “In December, we were approached by wonderful gentleman with a good idea for fundraising for the shelter,” said Wendy Anderson, executive director of the Tobacco Valley Animal Shelter. “As all shelters are around the country right now, especially ones that don’t have government contracts, they’re hurting for funds, for sure.”
Anderson says she was hesitant about the idea at first, but after legal said it was good to go, she couldn’t be more excited.
